From Principal's Desk

Welcome to Jagjivan Ram Shramik Mahavidyalaya, Jamalpur (Bihar). The College came into existence through the initiative taken by a group of eminent academicians and social activists who recognized the importance of higher education in the development of the state.
In the year 2000, the college was allocated its own land. It is our constant effort to provide a conducive atmosphere and environment not only for academic excellence but also for the development of a high moral and spiritual character.
We have a highly qualified and capable faculty who not only teach, but also counsel and monitor. The programmes and activities are incorporated in campus life in a way so as to help students to be academically qualified, morally upright and socially responsible. Providing a learning atmosphere, we wish and hope that someday our students somewhere around the globe make us proud and their country proud.
